Graphic Design Intern

  • $13.00 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
  • 8-12 hours per week
  • 100% Remote Work Availability: No
  • Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

Serve as a member of the Marketing & Communications team assisting with a variety of graphic design tasks, including (but not limited to):

  • Create and execute design concepts for marketing campaigns.
  • Present design concepts to their supervisor and other marketing staff members.
  • Design a wide variety of marketing materials, including posters, brochures, digital signage, print signage, web images, logos, etc.
  • Prepare artwork for use in print and digital communications.
  • Place print orders and ensure delivery from vendors.
  • Conduct research on graphic design techniques and resources.
  • Assist staff with various office tasks as needed (deliveries, printing, assembly of materials). 
Minimum Requirements
  • Must be a quick learner.
  • Have excellent graphic design skills.
  • Strong grasp of the English language.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and/or Illustrator.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as with a team.
  • Graphic design major, graphic design minor, communication major or marketing major.
