Position Summary

The Vinyl Graphics & Sign Production Technician works in all areas of our production department, including vinyl graphics, wide-format printing, sign fabrication, installation, and custom product manufacturing. This position involves producing, finishing, installing, and preparing signs and graphics for delivery while maintaining exceptional quality and craftsmanship.

The successful candidate will also receive on-the-job training to learn how to operate industrial sewing machines to fabricate custom tire covers using marine-grade vinyl. No prior sewing experience is required—only a willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

Install Vinyl Graphics and Signs

Install window graphics, vehicle wraps, wall graphics, floor graphics, sign panels, dimensional signs, and other custom products both in our shop and at customer locations. Attention to detail and pride in workmanship are essential to producing clean, durable, professional installations.

Operate Production and Finishing Equipment

Operate printers, laminators, plotters, cutters, and other production equipment to manufacture high-quality signs, banners, decals, posters, and other printed products. Finish products by trimming, mounting, laminating, hemming banners, assembling sign panels, packaging, and preparing orders for delivery.

Fabricate Custom Tire Covers

Learn to operate industrial sewing machines to measure, cut, assemble, and sew custom tire covers using marine-grade vinyl. Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and craftsmanship while following established production methods. On-the-job training will be provided.

General Production Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret work orders accurately.
  • Measure materials and perform layout work.
  • Safely operate hand and power tools.
  • Assist with sign fabrication and installations.
  • Assist in the production of custom marine-grade vinyl tire covers.
  • Keep work areas organized and clean.
  • Help maintain equipment and inventory.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines.


Qualifications

The ideal candidate has basic construction or fabrication skills, enjoys working with their hands, and takes pride in producing quality work. Experience in signs, graphics, sewing, fabrication, construction, or related trades is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
