Job description

About this Opportunity:

The Graphic Designer supports the visual representation of Life-Assist online, at events, in video, and in print. Working closely with and under the creative direction of the Senior Graphic Designer, this role helps execute the brand's design strategy across a high volume of projects. This is a collaborative, execution-focused role: the Senior Graphic Designer sets creative direction and owns major campaigns, and the Graphic Designer partners with them to bring that vision to life efficiently and consistently.

As the Graphic Designer, you will:

  • Execute design projects across print, web, email, social, and sales materials in partnership with the Senior Graphic Designer, ensuring consistency with established brand guidelines
  • Support the Senior Graphic Designer on major campaigns (EMS Week, Breast Cancer, Giving campaigns, trade shows) by producing layouts, assets, and variations from an agreed creative direction
  • Take direction and feedback from the Senior Graphic Designer, incorporating revisions promptly and professionally
  • Work within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce the brand's style and voice across visual touchpoints
  • Manage individual design tasks from concept through production, escalating strategic or brand-direction questions to the Senior Graphic Designer
  • Collaborate with the IT, sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure designs are implemented as intended
  • Assist with concepting, layout, and design of print pieces
  • Assist with concepting, layout, and design of websites, email blasts, landing pages, and video assets
  • Support email marketing items, presentation materials, and interactive event materials
  • Submit visual design concepts for brainstorming and approval in a timely manner
  • Help manage design workload and deadlines in partnership with the Senior Graphic Designer, flagging capacity issues early
  • Stay current on visual design technologies, applications, and industry trends
Who Are You?

B.A. in Graphic Design, Web Design/Development, Media Design, Digital Art, Marketing, or a similar field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience of 2+ years

  • Solid skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat
  • Online Viewable Portfolio
  • Familiarity with Adobe Premiere or other video editing tools is a plus
  • Foundational experience in web design, layout, and typography
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus
  • Strong collaborator who works well within a team and takes creative direction constructively
  • Eager to learn from and grow under the mentorship of a senior designer
