Job description

Summary Statement:

As a Graphic Designer in our Brand Marketing team, you will assist in several production tasks including but not limited to collaborating with resort marketing and co-branded partners, creating marketing materials, executive presentations, on-property collateral, and global content that engages our audience on multiple digital and print touch points. The Graphic Designer will support the senior designer and design team, production design work, creative concepting, resizing for all traditional digital and social assets, photo editing.

PrimaryJob Duties:- Includes but is not limited to:

  • Create ad mats, print ads, billboards, digital billboards and collateral for all resort advertising needs, on-property and digital.
  • Create unique content for all websites and third-party content needs that feature resort content.
  • Assist with marketing presentation templates, inclusive of designing the templates for executive presentations.
  • Create illustrations and mockups for concept ideas for pitch meetings.
  • Produce main event graphics, social media graphics, OOH, print and animated graphics in a variety of ad sizes.
  • Coordinate workflow across internal and external creative teams.
  • Provide creative production support for all and content contributors to assist with completion of creative job requests.
  • Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
  • Ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:

  • Proficiency in graphic design software and tools, including but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and the ability to create visually appealing and effective marketing materials.
  • Strong creative skills to develop engaging and innovative design solutions that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English to collaborate with team members, present ideas, and understand project requirements.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of design work, from typography and color selection to image placement.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing project scopes, requirements, and design directions, while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, creative, and external partners, to ensure the successful execution of design projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address design challenges and make creative decisions that align with project goals.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI best practices and the ability to work with digital, print, graphics, and video assets according to production specifications.
  • Willingness and ability to comply with company Policies and Procedures, job description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS), and other instructions to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by the position.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.

Preferred:

  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting is preferred, as it demonstrates an understanding of the unique requirements and standards associated with such environments.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • At least two years of previous experience as a Graphic Designer within travel, hospitality or luxury product industries, or at a digital agency in a similar field.
  • Working knowledge of applying UX/UI best practices and brand standards.
  • Working knowledge of digital, print, graphics, and video asset specifications as it relates to production work.
  • At least 18 years of age.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in art or graphic design.
  • Proven experience in a creative production role.
  • Previous experience in a large, luxury resort setting or global advertising agency.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Position required licenses
