Job description

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the design and distribution of a variety of sales & marketing materials for the Professional Division, including the annual price list, brochures, graphics for trade shows, and more. They also build, deploy, and track various email and social media marketing campaigns.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or two years experience) in graphic design, marketing, or communications
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud programs - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Experience with email and social media marketing
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication (written and verbal) skills

Tasks and Responsibilities

Graphic Design

  • Design and manage the production of printed and digital marketing materials per the needs of the Professional Division Marketing and Sales Teams and the PTP (Petzl Technical Partner) program, including but not limited to: ads, event and trade show graphics, sales tools, and swag in adherence to Petzl's brand guidelines
  • Create and manage the distribution of the annual new product toolkit for customers and sales reps: price lists, industry-specific brochures, and training materials
  • Manage the development of the in-season asset needs of customers, sales reps, and PTPs as determined by the Marketing Manager, including: POP (point of purchase) program, graphics requests, promotional pieces, and co-branded materials
  • Continually evaluate Petzl's marketing materials and toolkit to ensure industry best practices and strive for constant improvement
  • Coordinate logo-promotional needs and manage production and delivery

Digital Marketing

  • Manage, build, and track social media marketing campaigns on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, both organic and paid posts
  • Manage and build email marketing campaigns while ensuring compliance of the emails and databases (B2C and B2B) related to all marketing communications, and monitor campaign performance
  • Continually evaluate Petzl's digital marketing efforts to ensure industry best practices and strive for constant improvement

Miscellaneous

Petzl America is a small organization and often times there are duties that need to be performed that might not be directly related to this position, including but not limited to:

  • Assisting the Trade Show and Events Manager with packing equipment and materials for events
  • Helping the Professional Division with local events, potentially after hours
  • Assisting the Sport Division with one-off marketing requests on an as needed basis

Continuing Education

  • Actively pursue professional development as it relates to marketing and design
  • Participate in product and technique training clinics
  • Practice technical skills used in the vertical world
