Job Title: Digital Learning Designer & Content Developer
Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Learning Designer & Content Developer to join our team. This role is for someone who lives and breathes digital learning; you will be responsible for translating complex technical and professional concepts into engaging, interactive, and high-impact e-learning experiences.
You will be the primary "builder" for our digital learning library, responsible for everything from initial storyboarding and scriptwriting to final QA testing and LMS deployment. If you have a passion for graphic design, multimedia integration, and adult learning principles, and you enjoy managing the full lifecycle of content creation, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Interactive Content Creation
• Digital Design: Design and develop highly interactive e-learning modules using Articulate Storyline and Rise. Integrate multimedia elements (audio, video, motion graphics) to create a premium, immersive learner experience.
• Blueprinting: Translate raw content from subject matter experts (SMEs) into detailed storyboards, learning blueprints, and scripts that are actionable and learner-centric.
• Multimedia Production: Enhance course aesthetics by integrating high-quality graphics, videos, and audio. Ensure all assets are visually compelling and optimized for various devices and browsers.
Lifecycle Management & Governance
• Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous QA testing across all digital assets. Verify functionality, accessibility, and technical accuracy before deployment to ensure a seamless learner experience.
• Deployment & Maintenance: Manage the upload and configuration of content within the LMS. Maintain a disciplined content repository, ensuring version control and consistency across the global course library.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively review existing learning assets. Update content based on learner feedback, business process changes, and performance analytics to ensure ongoing relevance.
Collaboration & SME Partnership
• Consultative Design: Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, validate content, and provide guidance on best practices for effective learning design and delivery.
• Project Governance: Manage multiple concurrent development projects. Balance aggressive timelines with a strict commitment to quality and attention to detail.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.
• Experience Baseline: Proven professional experience creating corporate digital learning content.
• Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise).
• Instructional Logic: Working knowledge of modern design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify complex concepts into engaging learning narratives.
Preferred Attributes
• Experience designing training for specific corporate functions (e.g., Compliance, HR, Professional Development, or Operations/Manufacturing).
• Experience utilizing multimedia and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or similar).
• Familiarity with learning analytics-using data to optimize content effectiveness.
