Want to join our team as a Graphic Designer, Social?
The Graphic Designer is responsible for the ideation, design and production of marketing materials for Bauer Hockey's social media content engine. This role requires a high understanding of the ever-changing social media landscape - particularly regarding platform-specific design, on-trend ideation and strategic understanding across Bauer Hockey's social channels (IG, YT, TT, etc). This role must understand how design and content perform in unison, while also consistently reflecting Bauer Hockey's brand identity. It's a highly collaborative environment where the Graphic Designer needs to influence cross functional partners and motivate action.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
  • Execute graphic design needs and collateral to support Bauer Hockey launches, campaigns and evergreen social content.
  • Collaborate with creative and production teams to concept and influence design and content executions.
  • Deliver assets optimized primarily for social (IG, YT, TT), with occasional support for other Bauer Hockey channels.
  • Maintain Bauer Hockey brand standards across multiple social mediums while adhering to each platform's best practices.
  • Support in content creation - whether ideating, creating, and/or supporting production.
  • Produce original, thoughtful and clean graphic designs under tight deadlines and adheres to brand guidelines.
  • Strong conceptual skills with interest in discovering, creating and pitching ideas to teammates and management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, digital, category and channel teams.
  • Deep understanding and interest around social content and the evolution of graphic design on social channels.
  • Stay up to date on industry tools, techniques, and best practices in graphic design, Ai and social media platforms.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of graphic design experience working with real examples living on social channels.
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) along with other creation tools.
  • Owns a portfolio demonstrating a breadth of exceptional, original and stylistic design that conveys strong conceptual thinking, sensitivity for typographic and graphic design and an unwavering attention to detail.
  • Proven experience working within the specifications of a brand style-guide.
  • Flexible and able to focus on a wide range of projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated problem-solver capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • A team player with collaborative skills, open to creative direction while possessing a strong personal point of view.
  • Strong presentation, listening and communication skills.
  • Team player with great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
