Job description

Duties: Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build solutions or breakdown technical problems. Drive cross functional system architecture, information architecture and solution architecture. Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems. Develop software aligned with control procedures for security and resiliency aligned with business workloads. Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met by software code development. Participate in infrastructure governance process, infrastructure architecture approval for infrastructure budgeting, and getting sign off on proposed solutions in the Architecture Review Boards in the organization tower. Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems. Understand the code delivered by the designated Machine Learning modelers and translate it into code that can be plugged into applications that serve the score to the business workload.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Computer Science or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Systems Developer, Computer Systems Analyst, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software Developer, Systems Developer, Computer Systems Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability; Developing applications using libraries including Spring and Springboot framework, and programming languages including Java and python; Developing Micro services as RESTful API and deploying them on Kubernetes based runtime platforms and AWS using technologies including Elastic Kubernetes Service or Elastic Container Service, and AWS Lambda or AWS SNS-SQS based messaging solutions; Developing applications which use application ecosystem with components including API Gateways, Apache Kafka, AWS SNS and SQS, AWS EKS, AWS ECS, AWS EMR, Cassandra, Graph databases including TigerGraph, and AWS S3 storage; Production monitoring, alerting support, and debugging issues using observability tools such as Splunk, Kibana, AppDynamics or Dynatrace; Analyzing data using AL/ML aligned tools such as Jupiter notebooks, AWS Sagemaker, or AWS Athena; Performing exploratory data analysis within enterprise databases to extract, clean, transform, and load data to analyze production issues; Developing and automating data processing systems to drive and improve product experience; Building scalable Spark data pipelines leveraging scheduler and executor frameworks; Processing data sets using data containers, multithreading, and multiprocessing in PySpark and Tensorflow for neural network models used in the applications.
