Job description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages a project.
  • Coordinates the strategic planning process and monitors progress toward achieving project goals.
  • Assists in developing, administering and monitoring project related budgets.
  • Coordinates logistical arrangements for related conferences, conventions or meetings.
  • May assist in identifying funding resources and in developing funding strategies and initiatives.
  • Develops and generates various operational and statistical reports.
  • Represents and promotes the project at various speaking engagements.
  • May write grants, reports, briefings, newsletters, promotional or other written material related to the project.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will support departmental operations by assuming and managing a range of administrative and programmatic responsibilities, including:

  • Faculty Credentialing:  Assume responsibility for all faculty credentialing processes, ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
  • Faculty Promotions:  Oversee and coordinate faculty promotion activities, including documentation, timelines, and submission processes.
  • CME Tracking and QGenda Management:  Manage Continuing Medical Education (CME) tracking and administer QGenda scheduling functions.
  • Clinical Scheduling:  Manage departmental on-call, consult, and e-consult schedules to ensure appropriate coverage.
  • Event Planning: Lead planning and execution of departmental events, including but not limited to the Holiday Party, Swerlick Lecture, and Grand Rounds.
  • Space and Equipment Management: Oversee departmental space utilization and equipment management, including IT coordination and annual inventory audits.
  • General Administrative Support:  Provide support for miscellaneous administrative duties, including RST submission, depositing departmental checks, mail management, and P-Card administration.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of related project management experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training.

NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location.  Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
