Throughout the fellowship, the Facial Plastics/Rhinology/Neurotology Surgery fellow is actively engaged in per-operative patient care on both a supervised and independent basis. All facets of surgery are included in the surgical training. The fellow is also expected to provide attending coverage to assist with emergency coverage for patients on an as-needed basis. Fellows are also required to actively assist in the teaching and training of house officer, medical students, and paramedical personnel. The fellow will also be responsible for formal didactic presentation including the core curriculum, grand rounds, and the teaching conference. All fellows are required to complete a research project suitable for publication as mandated, and to meet any and all additional requirements as set forth.
