ABOUT THE ROLE

Buff City Soap is looking for a storyteller with an innate curiosity who’s capable of wordsmithing brilliant headlines and telling engaging stories. We have a tight group of creatives that are passionate about the work they produce and the environment they are creating. We are a team at the end of the day and are here to help grow and support each other. We are looking for a hard worker with a go-getter attitude. You must be detail-oriented and able to not only be creative but be a grammar expert and syntax magician.

**This position is a temporary, full-time assignment expected to run through the end of 2026, with the possibility of an extension**

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Social media copy
  • Emails, CRM and website copy
  • Presentation of ideas to internal creative team and key stakeholders
  • Copyedit and proofread all print, web, email, and social media content
  • Maintain a consistent voice throughout all digital and online media properties
  • Maintain, and enforce editorial style guidelines
  • Leaning in to support copy in other creative areas as needs arise including signage, brand activations, etc.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, Communications, English or another relevant field preferred
  • Agency internships or 1-3 years of experience in an agency or internal agency environment
  • Portfolio that demonstrates a high level of creativity, impeccable grammar, and brilliant writing skills (ideally including brand execution of website copy, social media, and email campaigns).
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
