Job description

We are seeking a Grafana & ClickHouse Analytics Engineer with strong experience in dashboard development, analytics engineering, observability, and large-scale data platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Grafana, ClickHouse, SQL optimization, and migration of SQL Server/SSRS analytics solutions.

Required Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in BI reporting, analytics engineering, observability, or data platforms
  • Strong experience building Grafana dashboards, visualizations, alerts, variables, templating, and dashboard-as-code
  • Deep understanding of ClickHouse architecture, schema design, data modeling, and ClickHouse SQL
  • Experience with SQL Server to ClickHouse migration and query conversion
  • Strong SQL skills including:
    • Complex queries
    • Aggregations
    • Joins
    • Window functions
    • Query optimization and performance tuning
  • Experience with ClickHouse features:
    • MergeTree engines
    • Partitions
    • Primary/Sort keys
    • Materialized views
    • Distributed tables
    • Replication and sharding
  • Experience with near real-time analytics, monitoring, alerting, and observability practices
Responsibilities
  • Analyze existing SSRS reports and SQL Server analytics assets for migration.
  • Design and develop Grafana dashboards to replicate and enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Develop and optimize ClickHouse data models and analytical queries.
  • Implement Grafana alerts, thresholds, and notification workflows.
  • Validate migrated reports and ensure data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with engineering and business teams on requirements, UAT, and documentation.
  • Create migration documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials.
