You will serve as a SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SPECIALIST in the OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY, HEALTH, AND ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF.
SALARY RANGES:
GS-11: $77,964 - $101,359
GS-9: $64,438 - $83,774Qualifications:GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting in the planning of and/or conducting occupational safety inspections and/or occupational health surveys of workplaces where the types of health hazards are commonly anticipated.
GS-9: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting in the planning of and/or conducting occupational safety inspections and/or occupational health surveys of workplaces where the types of health hazards are anticipated.

GS-11:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in safety or occupational health fields (safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene) or a degree in other related fields that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours of study form among the following (or closely related) disciplines: safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, occupational medicine, toxicology, public health, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biological sciences, engineering, and industrial psychology.
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in safety or occupational health fields (safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene) or a degree in other related fields that included or was supplemented by at least 24 semester hours of study form among the following (or closely related) disciplines: safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, occupational medicine, toxicology, public health, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biological sciences, engineering, and industrial psychology.
OR
