SAIC is seeking an intern currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, an undergraduate program majoring in electrical engineering. The individual will work under the guidance of the US Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) and SAIC scientists to build, operate, and repair electrical control system. This will be an intern position based at the Air Force Research Laboratory, JBSA Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
Responsibilities:

Operate, repair, and maintain a variety of integrated control systems for laser based experiments

Develop electronic and optoelectronic control systems for precise delivery of laser energy.
- Interface with Principle Investigators to determine priority tasks
- Provide regular updates to principle investigators on project progress
- Present work at an end of summer workshop
