Job description

Mechanical Graduate Engineer:
Halff has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Graduate Engineer supporting our MEP team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience with HVAC air and hydronic concepts and must be capable of performing routine calculations, equipment layout, basic equipment under supervision of senior staff.
Mechanical Graduate Engineer Requirements:
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture/Engineering.
• Basic design and layout of HVAC air and hydronic systems
• Must be able to build strong working relationships with both clients and internal contacts with other Halff offices
• Collaborate effectively with other engineers, architects, and project stakeholders including owners
• Working knowledge of IMC and ASHRAE 90.1
Mechanical Engineer Preferred Experience:
• Three + years of HVAC and energy modeling
• Experience in Trane Trace 700 or Carrier HAP
• Revit (BIM) and AutoCAD production experience
• Ability to obtain the Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus
