Responsibilities
As a vital member of our engineering team, your day will be filled with meaningful challenges and impactful work. You might start by diving into detailed analysis and design of critical structures and components. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, you'll ensure designs meet rigorous safety and regulatory requirements, such as seismic and environmental standards. Later, you could evaluate proposed plant modifications, ensuring that every change upholds safety and compliance. Your afternoon might involve preparing in-depth technical reports, design calculations, and specifications, all while effectively communicating findings to key stakeholders. Every task you tackle contributes directly to the safety, reliability, and innovation of our client facilities. You will also need to:

Qualifications
This posting covers a range of internal levels. Minimum qualifications for our mid-level position are shown below:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering from an accredited university
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with design of civil structural systems
  • Experience in one of the following industries highly preferred: engineering/design services, power generation, nuclear power, heavy industrial including chemical or pulp & paper, and government (DOE) projects
  • Good writing, presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams
  • Proficient in Word and Excel

  • Senior Engineers typically have 7 years of post-graduate experience in a related role
