Job Title: Hybrid Cloud Platform Software Engineer Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local Anticipated Posting End: 12/31/2026 The Opportunity: Join a fast-paced Agile team supporting mission-critical geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) applications for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). Contribute to a security-first engineering culture supporting critical national security missions. Define and implement a hybrid on-prem/AWS cloud architecture and migrate existing applications to operate seamlessly in on-prem, cloud, and edge environments across multiple classification domains.

Support high operational mission tempo and innovate rapidly ahead of need (the right innovation creates new needs) Expand hands-on experience with cloud technologies, containerized environments, automated deployment solutions, and use of artificial intelligence (AI) to improve platform performance. Coach, mentor, guide other engineers in cloud platform implementations Work alongside software engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and system administrators to improve development and operational workflows. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities: O&M of existing Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes environments across multiple security domains in Cloud, datacenter and edge environments Integrate with NGA-provided commercial platforms, data environments, and enterprise services Integrate AI into the platform to increase speed, reduce cost, add new functionality and/or enable access by external AI tools Conduct trade studies to select appropriate open-source, commercial or existing government solutions/technologies to balance performance, cost, user experience and time to operations Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements and scale existing platforms to meet them Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions Maintain detailed documentation to support contract deliverables, security authorization, architecture tools (Cameo) and other purposes. Leverage CACI AI productivity tools and NGA-provided services as required Qualifications: Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related STEM discipline. Certifications in AWS Cloud Solutions Architect - Professional and Certified Scrum Developer may substitute for a degree with demonstrated experience applying those skills.

At least 7 years' experience developing software and/or cloud solutions Demonstrated experience using Amazon Web Services Demonstrated experience using Git tool suite, Kubernetes, Helm, Trino Excellent oral and written communication skills for customer interaction Security Clearance (TS/SCI) with willingness to undergo polygraph examination. Desired: Active TS/SCI with Poly Graduate degree in a STEM field Experience working with NGA systems and personnel Experience with cloud-native design and Generative AI technologies Experience using geospatial software such as Esri ArcGIS Pro / ArcGIS Enterprise and related APIs. - What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
