Novatech is seeking a new graduate to join our established and growing Land Development team. We are infrastructure looking for someone who appreciates using design concepts to build sustainable for developing communities in an environmentally responsible way. What You'll Do

  • Assist in developing design concepts into preliminary designs, including preparation of design briefs and general layout development.
  • Assist in completing preliminary grading and servicing design .
  • Apply current industry practices and standards to undertake engineering analysis following approved standards and procedures.
  • Support the civil engineers, planners and landscape architects and other project team members to ensure that the designs produced are consistent with and align with the overall business objectives of the project.
  • Help prepare construction cost estimates.

Skills & Experience You'll Need

  • Knowledge in the following software: AutoCAD/Civil 3D; and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commitment to excellence and high-quality work, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong verbal, written communication and technical writing skills
  • Good interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently as well with a multi-disciplined team.
  • Field experience in survey and inspection is an asset.
  • A valid Province of Ontario driver's license.


Education and Accreditation Required

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, with future eligibility for P.Eng.

Compensation/Work Arrangements

  • Salary Range: $75,000-$80,000 annually. Salary offered will be based on education, experience,
    and skills.
