Job Summary:
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Coaching & collaboration: Receive one-on-one mentorship from a dedicated Performance Coach who will provide guidance and feedback throughout your internship and make you feel like part of the team!
Professional development: Engage in talent development workshops focused on key professional skills to build your confidence and learn what makes a successful Lockton Associate.
Sessions with leadership: Participate in Meet Your Leaders sessions, hearing directly from senior leadership about Lockton's business, industry trends, and their own career journeys.
Networking: Build meaningful professional relationships through networking opportunities with Lockton Associates, leaders, and fellow interns.

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
Group project: In groups of 5-7 interns, tackle a real-world challenge facing Lockton and the insurance industry. You will present your findings and recommendations to Lockton leadership at the end of the program.
Case studies: You'll explore different specialty areas of our business through weeklong case studies and work to solve client issues.
Career exploration: Discover career paths within Lockton and the insurance industry through various sessions and activities.
JOB DUTIES
Interns will be embedded within a Lockton account team in Risk Solutions or People Solutions to support day-to-day activities that help deliver exceptional client service and account management.
Participate in client-focused projects and meetings to gain firsthand exposure to brokerage operations and how Lockton provides tailored risk and insurance solutions.
Learn how Lockton leverages strong carrier relationships to provide creative solutions that deliver long-term value, helping clients achieve their business objectives.
Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other materials used to serve and retain clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled college student scheduled to graduate Dec 2027 or May 2028
All majors are encouraged to apply; preferred majors include insurance, risk management, marketing, finance, or any other business-related field
Experience working in customer service and project management
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and analytical skill
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for current or future visa sponsorship now or at any time in the future
