Job description

Uprite Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Boise team. This individual will oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, with a strong emphasis on ground up commercial and industrial tilt up construction. The ideal candidate is an organized leader who can manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, client relationships, and multiple project stakeholders while maintaining a high standard of quality and safety.

What You'll Do:
  • Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasting
  • Lead project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Review contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Coordinate procurement and subcontractor buyout activities
  • Partner closely with field Superintendents to ensure schedule and quality expectations are achieved
  • Monitor project costs, billing, cash flow, and financial performance
  • Identify and proactively resolve project risks and challenges
  • Maintain strong client relationships throughout the life of the project
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Uprite quality standards
  • Support estimating and preconstruction efforts when needed
What You'll Bring:
  • 7 or more years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor
  • Proven experience managing ground up commercial construction projects
  • Industrial and tilt up construction experience strongly preferred
  • Experience managing projects valued from approximately $10 million to $100 million or larger
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and project financials
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project scheduling software
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
