Job description

Description

This Graduate Assistant position will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the Cheer and Dance programs as well as secondary responsibilities assigned by the Athletic Director. A strong faith base and commitment to the mission of Greenville University are essential. This is a 12-month position.

Requirements

Graduate Assistant (GA) is students, not employee of the university.

GA may not hold other on-campus employment.

GA must be accepted and enrolled in a Greenville University graduate program.

GA will maintain continuous enrollment in the degree program at all times

GA must maintain an accumulative G.P.A. of at least 3.0

 GA will receive a stipendin addition to full tuition scholarship fora Greenville University graduate program. 

GA must be able to live and work in the USA. No Student Visa available.


Responsibilities:

Coach Duties: administrative, practice, game, and competition preparation

Recruiting: coordinate recruiting activities including emails, phone calls, and letters, maintain the recruit database, and manage social media

Academics: monitor academic progress of players

Spiritual Development: assist/lead Bible studies and mentor players

Game Day Management: responsibilities as assigned by the Athletic Department.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and acceptance into a Graduate Program.

Cheer and Dance experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

Previous coaching experience

Dance technique/training/choreography
