Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM + every other weekend and holiday

  • Evaluate patients' respiratory conditions by conducting physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
  • Administer respiratory therapies including medical gas delivery, nebulization, chest physiotherapy, airway management, and mechanical ventilation (invasive and non-invasive) for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and neonatal patients.
  • Perform diagnostic testing such as arterial blood gas (ABG) collection and analysis, pulmonary function testing, and pulse oximetry
  • Monitor patient physiological responses to treatments and adjust care or escalate concerns as appropriate.
  • Manage artificial airways and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure patient safety and therapy effectiveness.
  • Active member of the medical emergency response teams.

Education:  

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy from an accredited program is required 
  • Graduate of a CoARC approved Respiratory Care program is required 

License(s)/Certification(s): 

  • Must have current licensure in good standing to practice as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in State(s) of Practice
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
  • Must obtain within 90 days of hire:
    • Mandatory Reporter
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
