Job Description
The Program Manager is a valued member of the Office of the CEO, reporting to the Director of Consulting and Service Delivery. Under general supervision, the Program Manager provides client-facing, consultative, and advisory services to MUSC Health Executive Leadership, Integrated Clinical Centers of Excellence (ICCE), business units, functional areas, and teams, and serves as a collaborative liaison to functions across the health system.
This position partners with leaders across the enterprise and its divisions to identify opportunities, develop operational plans, and support accountability for performance metrics across all strategic pillars - Quality, Safety, Finance, Growth, People, and Innovation. The Program Manager works alongside assigned operational leaders and business units to develop thoughtful, practical solutions that address specific business objectives and advance the health system's strategic intent.
The Program Manager provides advisory support for navigating governance structures, leadership accountability frameworks, internal consulting engagements, service delivery, and performance transformation. This role requires a strong program management foundation to oversee multiple concurrent projects across the enterprise, with the ability to analyze data, build alignment, and support the implementation of meaningful organizational improvements.
The Program Manager plays an important role in supporting the alignment and activation of the ICCE Accountability Management Program, helping to connect division-level execution to enterprise-level initiatives that reflect MUSC Health's strategic priorities. This role embraces a forward-looking mindset, drawing on data-driven methodologies and emerging technologies - including intelligent automation and artificial intelligence (AI) - to continuously improve clinical and operational performance across the health system.
As a vital member of the Office of the CEO, the Program Manager of Consulting and Service Delivery supports the alignment and activation of ICCE Accountability Management Program, and the connection to enterprise level initiatives that support our strategic intent.
Education: Master's degree required. Master of Health Administration (MHA) or Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred. Other relevant graduate disciplines (MPH, MS, or equivalent) will be considered.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in healthcare administration, management consulting, program management, or operational performance improvement. Experience within an academic medical center or large, integrated health system is strongly preferred.
Required Certifications / Skills (or completion within 1 year of hire):

Preferred Qualifications:
• AI certifications in healthcare AI applications, AI strategy, or equivalent
• Experience with AI agent development or intelligent automation platforms (Copilot, Manus, Claude)
• Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Copilot, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio) and enterprise project management platforms
• Extensive experience with Smartsheet, enterprise project tracking and portfolio management systems
