Working Title

Program Director, Dietetics Graduate Program

Position Overview

Serve as Program Director for the Future Education Model Dietetics Graduate Program in the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences. This position provides oversight for coursework and duties associated with the regular academic and educational experiences related to the Dietetics Graduate Program coursework and related field placement. The Director provides leadership in recruiting, enrolling, and retaining students in the program and ensures the program is in compliance with accreditation requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee coursework and duties associated with the regular academic and educational experiences related to the Dietetics Graduate Program coursework and related field placement.
  • Provide leadership in recruiting, enrolling, and retaining students in the program.
  • Ensure program compliance with accreditation requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree or in progress in nutrition, dietetics or related field from a U.S. regionally accredited college or university.
  • Higher education teaching and advising experience.
  • Registered Dietitian.
  • Knowledge of ACEND standards of education and broad knowledge of clinical and administrative dietetics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum three years of teaching and advising in higher education; program coordination and administrative experience.
  • Industry experience, ACEND accreditation experience.
  • Strong technology skills, strong oral and written communication skills, and proficiency with statistical and financial concepts.
Required License or Certification
