Graduate Admissions Officer Description

South College Indianapolis Campus is seeking a Graduate Admissions Officer to join the Physician Assistant Team! Under the direct supervision of the Program Director (PD) or Director of Operations, the Graduate Admissions Officer, oversees all Admissions responsibilities for the graduate program in conjunction with the Admissions Committee.


Responsibilities

  • Provide vision, leadership, and direction for the department by facilitating the recruitment and selection of qualified graduate applicants for admission.
  • Work with the Dean, the Director of Operations, and the Data Manager to determine the strategic directions and objectives of the admissions department.
  • Lead admissions functions, strategies, and procedures to handle the assessment of applications and ensures all strategic targets and metrics are in line for each incoming class.
  • Responsible for completing appropriate follow-up with prospective students to maximize successful completion of acceptance in the graduate program.
  • Support the program’s diverse culture, quality standards, and reputation.
Requirements:

Education

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree

Experience

  • Previous experience in admissions and recruiting. -Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, Campus Vue, and Salesforce. -Knowledge of office administration practices and procedures -Fluency in English including spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Good communication and organizational skills -Work independently as well as in a team environment
