Position Overview

A leading global chemical manufacturing company is seeking a motivated, entry-level Process Engineer to join their team in the greater Houston/League City area. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a degree in Chemical Engineering who is eager to launch a long-term career in process engineering within the polymers or petrochemical industry.


The hiring manager is looking for someone who is coachable, adaptable, and excited to grow. This position offers direct mentorship and the opportunity to be developed into a key contributor within the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily plant operations by monitoring and optimizing process performance
  • Assist in troubleshooting process issues and implementing corrective actions
  • Analyze process data to identify opportunities for efficiency, quality, and cost improvements
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and technical teams on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Participate in process safety management (PSM) and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Contribute to process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and reports
  • Support capital and small project initiatives as needed
