Job description

  • Lead the design and implementation of frontend and web platform solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and enterprise standards.

  • Drive architecture and solutioning for Angular and React applications, including design systems and component-driven development.

  • Build and maintain reusable Web Components and Design Systems to enable scalable and consistent UI development.

  • Develop high-quality, maintainable, and performant code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

  • Implement and maintain Storybook for component documentation, testing, and adoption.

  • Define and execute functional testing strategies to validate end-to-end user workflows, business rules, and integration scenarios across web applications.

  • Design, develop, and maintain QA automation using Playwright, including reliable end-to-end test suites, reusable test utilities, and cross-browser regression coverage.

  • Integrate Playwright automation into CI/CD pipelines, analyze test results, triage failures, and partner with engineering teams to improve release confidence.

  • Contribute to Node.js services and tooling that support frontend applications and integrations.

  • Support hybrid and integration use cases using Ionic as needed.

  • Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews, unit testing, and technical mentorship.

  • Balance technical debt management with feature delivery to support sustainable development.

  • Identify technical risks and dependencies and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Collaborate closely with Product, UX, Architecture, QA, and Backend teams for seamless integration and delivery.

  • Promote knowledge sharing, engineering excellence, and continuous improvement across teams.

  • Support delivery predictability through technical planning, estimation, and effective execution.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support system understanding and reuse.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience delivering complex, maintainable, high-quality software.

  • Proven experience leading technical design and implementation efforts in a hands-on technical leadership role.

  • Strong expertise in Angular or React.

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

  • Experience building and maintaining Design Systems and reusable Web Components.

  • Hands-on experience with Storybook for component development and documentation.

  • Strong experience with unit testing frameworks and testing methodologies.

  • Working experience with Node.js for frontend enablement and integrations.

  • Experience with Ionic for supporting integrations or hybrid applications.

  • Strong understanding of component-driven development, UI architecture, and frontend best practices.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Agile software development.

  • Ability and desire to lead technical discussions and communicate complex concepts effectively.

  • Passion for continuous learning and improving engineering outcomes.
