Position Summary:

The Project Engineer Mechanical/Heavy Industrial Division provides business and administrative support to facilitate the planning,coordination, and trackingactivities of designated projectsto ensure that goalsandobjectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

Hiring Requirements:

  • Associate degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or other related degrees a plus, or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering, cost control schedules and safety required.
  • Two years of experience in construction administration, design, finance, and management desirable. Education may be substituted for experience.
  • Basic analytic skills and the ability to handle projects costs and invoices.
  • Possesses discipline regarding processes, procedures, and demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Procore, Microsoft Project or Oracle Primavera is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills combined with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be courteous, professional, and diplomatic.
  • OSHA 10 Construction Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company provided online training).
  • Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and pass pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid unrestricted Driver's License.
