About the job Optometrist - Las Vegas, NV
A leading optometric organization is seeking a passionate, full-scope Optometrist to join a dynamic team with locations across Las Vegas and Henderson, NV. This is a unique opportunity for an O.D. who wants to practice at the highest level of licensure in a collaborative, well-supported environment with a strong focus on patient care and professional growth.
Position Overview:
The Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye care services, including routine vision and advanced medical exams, leveraging cutting-edge diagnostic technology such as RETeval ERG, Rabin CCT, OCT, Optos California, Olleyes threshold fields, FDTs, NuLids, Anterior Segment Photography, and RightEye. The practice emphasizes preventative care, visual performance, and expanded medical services within the full scope of Nevada optometry.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform full-scope optometric care, including comprehensive eye exams and advanced medical testing.
  • Manage a balanced schedule of routine (60-70%) and medical (30-40%) encounters.
  • Embrace expanded care opportunities to maximize patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a team of 32+ O.D.s and experienced support staff, including optometric technicians, diagnostic technicians, and opticians.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education and ensuring continuity of care.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives and ongoing professional development.
Practice Environment:
  • Multi-doctor offices with an average of 20 patients per OD per day
  • Complete administrative and billing support via a centralized call center and billing team
  • Dedicated full-time trainers for ongoing staff education
  • Extensive suite of diagnostic equipment and fully equipped exam lanes
  • Revolution EHR system
Compensation & Benefits:
  • W-2 employment with a $165,000 base salary
