Pay: $50 hourly, $120 per diem offered to non-local candidates
Location: Goose Creek, SC
Duration: 6+ years
Drug Testing and Background check required
Description
Performs welding processes on aluminum and steel parts and assemblies to required tolerances using welding metals and metal alloys.
Determines layouts and welds parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.
May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Testing Requirements:
Pipe Welders will do thin wall copper nickel socket welds and heavy wall copper nickel pipe with consumable insert
Required Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years additional education and/or related experience;
Apprentice graduate/ Associate's Degree in relevant discipline and 3 years of related experience.
May require certification.
