Summit Spine and Joint Centers is seeking a compassionate Physician Assistant to join our new outpatient pain management practice in Myrtle Beach, SC.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PA who enjoys practicing with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating closely with experienced physicians. You'll care for patients living with chronic pain, helping them improve their mobility, function, and overall quality of life through individualized treatment plans.

What You'll Do

As a Physician Assistant, you'll play an integral role in delivering comprehensive outpatient care to patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, medical histories, and physical examinations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
  • Manage follow-up appointments and monitor patient progress
  • Order and interpret laboratory studies and diagnostic imaging
  • Prescribe medications and treatments within your scope of practice
  • Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and lifestyle modifications
  • Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Active South Carolina PA license
  • Current BLS certification
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI)
  • Two or more years of clinical experience preferred
