George School, a Quaker boarding/day grades 9-12 college preparatory high school located in Newtown, Bucks County, PA has an opening for a seasonal Assistant Rowing Coach.

  • Assist with planning and leading daily practices
  • Provide technical instruction in rowing fundamentals and safety
  • Support race preparation and regatta operations
  • Help maintain equipment and boathouse organization
  • Foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and student-athlete growth
  • Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
Requirements:
  • Rowing and/or coaching experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of rowing technique and training principles
  • Ability to work with high school–aged students
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Availability for early mornings/afternoons and weekend regatta
  • Ability to lift/carry equipment and work outdoors in varied conditions
