Opportunity Information
Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic Pediatric ENT team in Sacramento, CA and Elk Grove, CA to support the growing patient demand and improve access for our pediatric ENT services. This new role will work closely with our highly skilled ENT physicians to deliver high-quality care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, both inpatient and outpatient
  • Split time between locations, spending approximately 50% of work hours in Elk Grove and 50% in Sacramento.
  • Manage pre-operative and post-operative visits
  • See new patients and consultations
  • Evaluate and manage common, chronic, and acute ENT conditions
  • Improve patient flow and reduce delays for subspecialized ENT services
  • Work collaboratively with ENT physicians, nurses, and care teams
  • No call responsibilities are required for this role
  • Participate on multi-disciplinary clinics

Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited NP or PA program with appropriate national certification (e.g., AANP, ANCC, NCCPA).
  • California licensure eligibility and clearances (NP/PA licensure required).
  • 1+ year of prior experience in ENT, Allergy, or Audiology is required
  • Exceptional communication skills, comfortable working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment including patient/family interactions.
