Summary

A well-established heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on public works and infrastructure projects throughout Southern California. This position plays a key role in driving daily construction activities while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to schedule.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on field leader with experience coordinating crews, subcontractors, and project teams on complex civil construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations on heavy civil and public works projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, self-perform crews, vendors, and equipment
• Develop and manage short-term schedules and look-ahead plans
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract documents
• Coordinate inspections, testing, utilities, and public agency requirements
• Maintain project quality standards and resolve field issues proactively
• Partner with Project Managers on scheduling, budgeting, and change management
• Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and daily field planning
• Maintain accurate daily reports, production tracking, and project documentation
• Drive project completion while maintaining safety, quality, and client satisfaction

Requirements
