About the Role:
Larlham Landscape Construction Co. is looking for a skilled CDL A Certified Driver/Equipment Operator to join their team in Charlestown, RI. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in picking up and delivering high-quality landscape construction projects from start to finish. If you love operating heavy equipment and being out in the field, this is the opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy construction and landscaping equipment including excavators, bulldozers, skid steers, and loaders
  • Transport equipment, materials, and supplies to and from job sites using a Class A commercial vehicle
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure safe operation
  • Assist with grading, excavation, and site preparation for landscape construction projects
  • Follow project plans, site layouts, and supervisor instructions to meet project specifications
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any mechanical issues promptly
  • Adhere to all DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies on and off the road
Requirements:
  • Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) required
  • Proven experience operating heavy construction or landscaping equipment
  • Clean driving record and compliance with DOT regulations
