The Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment used in underground utility construction projects, including water, sewer, storm drain, and related infrastructure installations. This position requires experience working around existing utilities, interpreting plans, and maintaining a safe and productive job site.

• Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes, loaders, skid steers, trenchers, and other construction machinery.
• Perform excavation, trenching, grading, backfilling, and utility installation activities.
• Safely expose and work around existing underground utilities.
• Read and interpret utility plans, blueprints, grade stakes, and project specifications.
• Assist with the installation of water lines, sewer lines, storm drainage systems, and related utility infrastructure.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and complete required maintenance reports.
