Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Grading Superintendent to oversee and manage all aspects of field operations related to grading and earthwork. This role is critical to ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and according to plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate daily grading operations, including cut/fill, rough grading, and fine grading.
  • Manage field crews, subcontractors, and equipment to maintain productivity and quality standards.  
  • Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.  
  • Ensure compliance with project schedules and budgets.  
  • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, safety, and quality control.  
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients.  
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, quantities, and production tracking.  
  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations.  
  • Identify and resolve field issues proactively.  
  • Coordinate inspections with AHJ.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in grading, earthwork, or site development (supervisory role preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of grading techniques, equipment, and GPS/machine control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret civil construction plans.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
  •  Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required).
