Job Summary:

Tampa Torah Academy, a growing Jewish day school in the Tampa Bay region, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated PE teacher and 3rd Grade Assistant Teacher to join our team. As a PE teacher and 3rd Grade Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds and bodies of our young students. We are committed to providing a unique educational experience that combines values with academic excellence. Our school's warm and nurturing environment is the perfect setting for you to make a lasting impact on our students' lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach physical education classes to students, designing engaging and challenging lesson that promote physical activity and teamwork and sportsmanship

  • Assist the 3rd-grade teacher in executing curriculum and engaging lessons and activities that promote academic growth

  • Supervise lunch/recess for a variety of students

Basic Schedule:

M/W 

11:55-1:20 recess and lunch supervision

1:20-2:30 3rd grade reading and math assistance/pullout

2:30-4:00 3x 30 min PE periods

T/TH 

11:55-1:20 recess and lunch supervision

1:20-2:05 3rd grade reading and math assistance/pullout (may go later?)

11:00-12:20 recess and lunch supervision

12:20-2:00 3rd grade reading and math assistance/pullout
