Job description

Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Civil Construction Equipment Operator with a strong background in finish work. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in grading and finish-level construction and be proficient in operating excavation and dozer equipment using Trimble GPS systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, etc.) for finish grading and excavation tasks.
  • Utilize Trimble GPS systems for precise grading and excavation.
  • Perform finish work to meet project specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and project managers to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction, with a focus on grading and finish-level work.
  • Proficient in using Trimble GPS systems for excavation and dozer operations.
  • Strong understanding of site plans, grading specifications, and construction documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
