Job description

Are you looking to join an innovative engineering consulting firm with a strong Gas Utility team that supports clients in over 35 different industries? We have a current need for an GPS Technician based in Nebraska or Colorado

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct accurate GPS data collection of existing gas infrastructure to ensure up-to-date facility records.
  • Collaborate with locators to develop and execute work plans for designated areas.
  • Serve as a liaison to the public, effectively communicating project updates and ensuring transparency on behalf of the client.

Requirements:

  • Previous GPS data collection experience with natural gas infrastructure is preferred; GPS proficiency is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret maps, with experience leading small teams.
  • Skilled in locating facilities using electronic locators, as necessary.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Enjoys working in the field
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record is an ongoing requirement.
