Job description

Temporary Full Time 

Summary

The Temporary Full Time Install Team Member supports a 13-week traveling installation program within grocery retail accounts. This role is responsible for executing in-store merchandising setups, including the installation of hardware and initial product placement for an impulse clip strip program. The position requires regular travel within an assigned territory and adherence to a structured schedule. Performance in this role may lead to consideration for permanent employment at the conclusion of the assignment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Travel to assigned grocery retail locations according to a predetermined 13-week schedule

-Must be open out of state travel

· Install merchandising hardware, including clip strips and related display components

· Execute initial product placement according to planograms and company standards

· Ensure all displays are properly secured, visually appealing, and compliant with store requirements

· Maintain accurate records of completed installations, including photos and reporting as required

· Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and store personnel

· Troubleshoot and resolve minor installation or merchandising issues in the field

· Understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment.

· Comply with all company policies and procedures.

· Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow visual merchandising instructions

· Basic mechanical aptitude for installing fixtures and hardware

· Ability to work independently and within a team

· Ability to manage time efficiently across multiple locations and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines

· Strong organizational and communication skills

· Ability to utilize manual and power tools

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment

· Ability to lift and move merchandise and equipment (typically up to 25–40 lbs)

· Familiarity with mobile reporting tools or willingness to learn

· Ability to read and follow planograms and assemble store fixtures and displays

Experience and Credentials

· High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required

· Must be 18 or older

· 1 to 2 years previous merchandising, grocery, or retail sales experience preferred

· Ability to move, lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds constantly and be on feet for 3 to 8 hours consecutively

· Must have and use reliable transportation

o Must possess and produce a valid state driver’s license with proof of current automobile insurance coverage, unless utilizing other means of transportation

· Must have access to and be able to use a smartphone capable of running and using the required applicable company-related software programs and business tasks like ordering, GPS tracking, and time recording.

· Must be computer literate and able to operate a smartphone or tablet utilizing different applications and the internet for company business, like ordering GPS tracking, and time recording

· Ability to read, speak, and understand English is required
