Job description

JOB TITLE: GPS LADO Simulator Operator
LOCATION: Buckley AFB, CO 80011
Responsible for operation of Launch, Anomaly Resolution, and Disposal Operations (LADO) simulator. Creates customized Simulation workspaces and software scripts as required in support of 50th Operations Group qualification, upgrade, and evaluations. Supports 2 SOPS GPS crew continuing training and training exercises. Supports Boeing, and Lockheed Martin engineer development training and exercise operations.
Required Skills:
• Prior experience in Space based Crew Operations and Command and Control of satellites
• Experience in Satellite operations and understanding of satellite subsystems
Qualification as GPS Space System Operator/Satellite Vehicle Operator • Prior experience conducting operations with Air Force Satellite Control Network (AFSCN) and Automated Remote Tracking Stations (ARTS)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Must have outstanding oral and written communication skills to develop and present training classes and exercises to customer
• Ability to coordinate meetings, manage multiple tasks, and conduct meetings and briefing for customers and Squadron leadership
Preferred Skills:
• Air Force/Space Force Instructor/Evaluator certification • Understanding of basic computer programming/operation
