Job description

Summary:
A company in the Land Surveying and Landscape Architecture industry is looking to hire a Survey Field Crew Chief in Palm Beach County Florida.
Primary responsibilities:
**Coordination and Supervision of a field survey crew engaged in surveying for construction, as-built, control survey, boundary, tree, and right-of-way projects.
**Coordinating assigning, and monitoring field work.
**Using GPS and conventional methods to gather field survey data
**Setting up and operates electronic total stations, levels, scanners, collectors, and GPS equipment.
**Interpreting Engineering plans.
**Performing field surveying for urban lots, roadways, bridges, rural acreage, and flood control projects to include setting survey construction stakes, setting property corner mounts, locating or establishing vertical and horizontal control points.
Requirements:
**3 + years of Field Crew Chief experience preferred
**5 years of experience in Land Sureveying/Civil Construction
**Valid FL DL Required
**Must be proficient with electronic survey equipment
**High School Diploma or GED required
**FDOT project experience preferred
**Experience with subsurface utility preferred
**Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
