PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT: Professionally and efficiently operate custom application equipment to service grower needs who are paying for the service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Operational skills related to heavy equipment
Professional and quality work completed on customer fields without damage to equipment or property
Proper care and maintenance of equipment entrusted to the employee
Ability to correctly read plat maps and work orders to locate fields for application
Communication skills with managers, coworkers at the location and customers in the area where work is to be done
Ability to run monitor software in application equipment
REQUIREMENTS
Custom applicator license for handling restricted use pesticides
HazMat endorsement on driver's license if handling such chemicals
Ability to work seasonal hours that require overtime to accomplish work goals
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Wage dependent on years of experience and history of quality work
FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES
Operational skills involving hydraulics and air brakes
Software and GPS mapping systems pertaining to the piece of equipment to be run
Ability to diagnose basic issues with the machinery and/or software
