Responsibilities:
Lead & Develop a High-Performing BDR Team
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop Business Development Representatives across both divisions.
  • Provide ongoing coaching focused on prospecting, discovery, qualification, messaging, and objection handling.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and accountability measures.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions and team meetings.
  • Develop future sales talent and create internal career pathways into sales roles.

Drive Pipeline Generation
  • Build and execute outbound prospecting strategies that generate qualified opportunities.
  • Ensure timely engagement of marketing-generated leads.
  • Optimize outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn, events, referrals, and other channels.
  • Improve prospect conversion rates throughout the lead qualification process.
  • Partner with sales leadership to identify target accounts and market opportunities.

Own the Lead Qualification Process
  • Establish and enforce qualification standards across the organization.
  • Ensure discovery calls are completed and properly documented.
  • Improve conversion from inquiry to Sales Accepted Lead (SAL), meeting, opportunity, and closed business.
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers and Sales Directors to continually refine Ideal Customer Profiles and qualification criteria. Build Process & Scale
  • Drive CRM adoption and data integrity within HubSpot.
  • Create and enforce repeatable sales development processes.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms that provide visibility into team and pipeline performance.
  • Analyze trends and identify opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness.

Partner Across the Business
  • Serve as the primary point of alignment between Sales and Marketing.
  • Partner with Sales Engineering, Product Management, Operations, and Client Success teams.
  • Support strategic account initiatives and competitive displacement campaigns.
  • Share market intelligence, customer feedback, and prospect insights with leadership.

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, inside sales, demand generation, or B2B technology sales.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience managing BDRs, SDRs, Inside Sales Representatives, or similar roles.
  • Proven success building and managing outbound prospecting programs.
  • Experience coaching sales professionals and driving performance through metrics and accountability.
  • Strong understanding of pipeline management and lead qualification methodologies.
  • Experience with CRM systems; HubSpot experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
