These skills are crucial for delivering innovative, secure, and efficient technology solutions that serve public needs and comply with regulatory requirements.

What are some typical challenges faced by professionals working in Govtech?

Professionals in Govtech often face the challenge of balancing technological innovation with strict regulatory and compliance requirements unique to the public sector. Navigating complex procurement processes, managing legacy systems, and integrating new solutions with existing infrastructure are common hurdles. Collaboration with multiple government agencies and stakeholders—each with their own priorities—requires excellent communication and project management skills. However, overcoming these challenges can be highly rewarding, as your work directly contributes to improving the efficiency and transparency of public services for citizens.

Our CIPAce™ platform powers multi-billion-dollar infrastructure programs, helping clients improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability in project delivery and asset management.
We are seeking a Director of Growth & Marketing to lead our company’s next phase of expansion. This is a pivotal leadership role for a hands-on strategist who can build and expand modern marketing and growth functions, transforming a technically strong, client-trusted company into a brand recognized across the GovTech and construction software industries.

Key Responsibilities

·         Define CIPPlanner’s market positioning, messaging, and differentiation against competitors.
·         Oversee content marketing, website management, SEO, email campaigns, webinars, and thought leadership initiatives.
·         Implement CRM-based lead nurturing and reporting frameworks (MQL → SQL → pipeline).
·         Partner with leadership and project teams to produce case studies, client success stories, and industry presentations.
·         Identify opportunities for alliances, conferences, and public-sector partnerships to increase visibility.
·         Manage and mentor marketing and sales development team members.

Qualifications
·         7+ years in B2B SaaS, GovTech, or enterprise software marketing, with measurable growth results.
·         Experience leading both strategy and hands-on execution in a small or midsize team environment.
·         Deep understanding of demand generation, market positioning, and funnel metrics.
·         Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.
·         Familiarity with government contracting or infrastructure software markets is highly desirable.
·         Candidates located in the New York metropolitan area are preferred

Success Metrics
·         Growth in qualified pipeline and inbound leads.
·         Increased brand awareness (website traffic, engagement, and media mentions).
·         Improved win rates and shortened sales cycles through better marketing enablement.

Why CIPPlanner
·         Proven product suite (CIPAce™ Platform) used by leading public agencies and private infrastructure owners.
·         Collaborative, entrepreneurial culture with direct access to company leadership.
·         Opportunity to define the company’s brand and marketing foundation from the ground up.
