Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Georgia Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
  • Current BLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required.
  • Ability to evaluate and treat orthopedics, debility, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, fractures, post-operative care, and cardiac diagnoses.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and manage a daily caseload averaging 10-12 patients.
  • Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
  • Minimum one year of relevant clinical experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Must be able to complete facility orientation including NEO and 3-5 days of departmental orientation depending on experience.
Assignment Details
  • Facility type: Hospital (Inpatient Rehabilitation).
  • Shift days: Monday through Friday.
  • Schedule: 5x8 shifts.
  • Standard hours per week: 40.
  • Patient volume: Average 10-12 patients per therapist per day.
  • Department staffing: Rehab department typically has three teammates with lead therapists onsite.
  • Floating: No floating required.
  • Weekend rotation: Available but not required. On call: No. Holiday expectations: No.
  • Orientation: New employee orientation plus 3-5 days departmental orientation based on experience.
  • Schedule cycle: 13-week scheduling cycle.
