The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including working within high-volume and fast-paced government contracting environments. This position does not require an active clearance but does require the ability to understand clearance pipelines, government contract requirements, and SCA positions.
You will work closely with hiring managers and program leadership to identify and attract highly qualified candidates for positions requiring Top Secret / SCI / Polygraph clearances, as well as for security and operational support roles across multiple U.S. and OCONUS locations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Execute full-cycle recruiting for cleared and uncleared positions within DoD and IC contracts.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of cleared candidates through proactive sourcing, networking, and market mapping.
  • Leverage job boards, clearance databases, social media, and referrals to identify and engage passive talent.
  • Partner with program and hiring managers to understand staffing requirements, timelines, and clearance constraints.
  • Manage candidate experience from initial contact through offer acceptance, ensuring timely communication and professionalism.
  • Coordinate with HR and Security to track clearance processing, onboarding timelines, and compliance documentation.
  • Utilize ATS (UKG or similar) to document candidate activity, maintain accurate records, and generate recruiting reports.
  • Support proposal recruiting efforts and provide LOI (Letter of Intent) coordination for upcoming bids.
  • Mentor or provide guidance to junior recruiters or recruiting coordinators when needed.
  • Contribute to process improvements, talent marketing initiatives, and best-practice recruiting strategies.

Requirements
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-4 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within government contracting or defense staffing.
  • Proven success recruiting for cleared roles (Secret, TS/SCI, or higher).
  • Familiarity with SCA positions, labor categories, and contract staffing requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing tools such as ClearanceJobs, LinkedIn Recruiter, and industry networks.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple requisitions with competing priorities.

Preferred:
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring a small recruiting team.
  • Understanding of OFCCP compliance and government recruiting reporting standards.
  • Experience supporting proposal and surge hiring efforts.
  • Working knowledge of UKG, CATS, Deltek Talent Management, or other ATS systems.

Key Attributes
  • Mission-driven mindset with a focus on quality and integrity.
  • Strong sense of urgency and follow-through.
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for connecting talent with meaningful national security work.
