The Role

We are looking for a Video Editor to join our Film Team at Teneo Studio, supporting the post-production of high-impact film and digital content projects for our clients

This role is for an experienced and highly creative editor who is passionate about visual storytelling and brand-led content. The ideal candidate will combine technical excellence with strong creative instincts, bringing a refined eye for detail, pacing, and narrative structure. You will thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and play a key role in shaping compelling content across multiple platforms.

The Video Editor will work closely with producers, directors,designersand the wider Teneo Studioteam to deliver best‑in‑class video content. You will take ownership of projects fromeditthrough to final delivery, ensuring all outputs meet the highest creative, technical and brand standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the editing of creative and informative branded video content across multiple platforms, including digital, socialmediaand corporate channels
  • Collaborate with producers, designers, and stakeholders to develop strong visual narratives that align with clientobjectivesand strategic messaging.
  • Apply advanced editing and motion graphics techniques to enhance storytelling and production value.
  • Maintain consistency across all deliverables.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
  • Present creative concepts and finished edits to internal teams and clients with clarity and confidence.
  • Review and implement feedback from internal teams and clients to refine and elevate video deliverables.
  • Optimizepost-production workflows, including file management,archivingand asset organization for efficient retrieval and reuse.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to editing, formats, codecs, and delivery requirements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging video technologies, and AI-driven creative tools, proactivelyidentifyingopportunities to enhance output and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years ofprofessional video editing experience, ideally within branded, corporate, financial, news or social media environments.
  • Advanced hands‑on experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and related tools.
  • Demonstratedexpertisein motion graphics and animation techniques.
  • Experience using generative AI video tools to enhance content creation and post‑production workflows.
  • Deep understanding of video formats, codecs, and end‑to‑end post‑production processes.
  • Strong storytelling, pacing, and visual composition skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing collaboratively within a wider creative team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high‑quality work.

Base Salary Range

$115,000 - 125,000 (compensation for this role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience that may fall outside of the range listed). Total Compensation Package includes annualized bonus, 401k match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of additional benefits and rewards

Hybrid. Teneo believes in in‑person collaboration when possible and if you are assigned to the New York office, the company expectation is for employees to work from the office location a minimum of three days per week.
