Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Video Editor to join our team in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating compelling and visually stunning video content that aligns with our brand identity. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at meeting tight deadlines, and work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality projects. This position requires proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, strong creativity, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Location: Brooklyn, NY (4 days a week)
Responsibilities:
  • Edit and assemble raw footage into polished video content, ensuring high-quality output that meets project requirements and brand standards.
  • Collaborate closely with our creative team to understand project objectives, creative direction, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively, even under pressure.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions into edits, demonstrating flexibility and attention to detail.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in video editing and motion graphics.
  • Maintain organized project files and adhere to file management protocols to ensure efficient workflow and collaboration.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative discussions, offering innovative ideas and solutions to enhance video content.
  • Participate in team meetings, presentations, and reviews to share progress, updates, and insights on projects.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, supporting team members and contributing to a culture of creativity and excellence.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Communications, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creative projects.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual storytelling, composition, and design.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to coming into the office four days a week.
  • Knowledge of video production workflows, formats, and codecs is a plus.
