Your work at Kuehne+Nagel has more impact than you can imagine.
Our 12-month rotational traineeship program is designed to provide hands-on exposure to the fundamentals of third-party logistics (3PL) and project cargo operations. Support the coordination of domestic and international project cargo movements while learning industry best practices and compliance requirements.
Assist with shipment tracking, documentation management, reporting, and operational administration to ensure successful project execution.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, customers, carriers, suppliers, and project teams to support daily logistics activities.
Develop an understanding of transportation modes, project planning, risk management, and supply chain solutions for complex cargo projects.
Analyze operational data and prepare reports that support project performance, visibility, and decision-making.
Participate in process improvement initiatives and learn how operational excellence drives successful project delivery.
Complete structured training, mentorship activities, and development assignments designed to prepare you for future opportunities within Project Logistics.
What we would like you to bring

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with an interest in problem-solving, operational processes, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and eagerness to learn through hands-on experiences and rotational assignments.
  • Interest in developing knowledge of global transportation, project logistics operations, contracts, compliance requirements, and supply chain best practices.
